UK Immigration Attorney

Grape Law Firm, PLLC is looking for a talented colleague for the “Case Manager (UK Immigration Attorney)” position. Grape Law is a New York-based, young, and dynamic law firm dedicated to helping immigrants worldwide navigate immigration processes and obtain citizenship. 

The role requires working in alignment with New York time zone hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support and guidance on a wide range of UK immigration matters.
• Draft and submit applications to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) and other relevant UK government bodies.
• Conduct legal research and monitor policy changes and case law relevant to UK immigration law.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal assistants supporting both our US and UK immigration clients.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, explaining immigration procedures, documentation needs, and case progress.
• Analyze client eligibility and prepare strong, well-organized application packages.
• Coordinate third-party services including translation, credential evaluations, and expert opinions.
• Maintain accurate records in our case management system and monitor case deadlines.
• Assist with developing internal knowledge base and resources for the growing UK practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

• LLB degree from a reputable university
• LLM degree from a UK institution (preferred)
• UK Bar Admission (preferred or in process)
• 1+ years of experience working in UK immigration law
• Familiarity with Home Office guidelines, sponsor compliance, and UKVI practices
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and legal drafting skills
• TOEFL (100+) or IELTS Academic (7.0+) is a plus
• Strong interest in legal tech and process automation; prior experience in a tech-enabled legal environment is highly valued
